Annual reports

Football Maties Foundation’s information is public, we strive for complete transparency. De informatie van Stichting Football Maties is openbaar, wij streven naar volledige transparantie. Football Maties Foundation is registered at the Chamber of Commerce and the Kennisbank Filantropie, so potential donors can find us and check our good intentions. Moreover, the tax authorities provided Football Maties with an ANBI declaration indefinitely. We strive to be CBF approved, but because of expenditures other activities have our priority and we have had to postpone our request for this. The annual figures and budget of Football Maties are shown in a clear and transparent way in the following documents. The policy of the Foundation Football Maties has been updated, revised and adjusted and has a horizon until 2020. We adjust our plans each year and set realistic targets for ourselves. The annual budget is used to cover the costs of planned expenses. This involves costs for transport, cellphones, offices, travel, registration and presentation tools. Our volunteers receive no form of compensation whatsoever, although we strive to be able to compensate our volunteers appropriately. To cover these costs, we are seeking sponsors and donors.

Football Maties started with the dream of the then 11-year old Mick van Zon, who donated three pairs of used football shoes to the children in South-Africa. At the moment, Mick is almost 16 years old. By now, we have collected and shipped thousands of used football shoes, a lot of clothing and materials to Nigeria, Niger, the Philippines, Tanzania, Senegal, Ghana, Morocco, South-Africa and some other countries! We are not done yet, we keep going for the children. Help us and more importantly, help the children! Give them hope, a dream and a future. We look forward to your donation to our bank account, account number NL79 RBRB 0964 5259 68 Stichting Football Maties, Arnhem. It is also possible to become a sponsor as a company. For more information please contact and we will send you our digital brochure. you can also download the brochure here →  hier ook downloaden. The motto of our new campaign is: ‘Heb ik wat van je aan?’, which translates to ‘am I wearing something that is yours?’. With this slogan we have also participated in the NRC Charity Awards.
